1920's Speakeasies and Indian Experiences

Friday night we tried out this bar/club called Blind Tiger at AKA. It was a 1920's style bar, with sitting room, a dance floor, stools, two floors, and ropes and a hoop hanging from the ceiling. The Dj was pretty awesome, mixing songs together like 'we will rock you' to the music from 'i love rock and roll' and things like that, and playing a few swing songs occasionally. it was kind of awesome. to add to the fun, every night there are different burlesque dancers there. that was kind of crazy. this girl would descend on this hoop from the ceiling, and do all these contorsionist spins, and loops and crazy circus type stuff. to add to the boys attraction, she had lack of a shirt, much like the janet jackson "accident" at the superbowl. or Lil' Kim's classy attire that year at the VMA's. It was really fun none the less.

Last night we went down to SoHo to try Indian food. Trying new things left and right gang. I hope you're proud. It was actually really good. We could barely read the menu, but just took a shot in the dark and were pleasantly surprised. However, we mistakenly ended up at a Vegetarian style Indian Cuisine place, so we're gonna have to try another one out, with meats and chicken and stuff. My tea i had was so amazing. Lemon Tea, freshly brewed or boiled. and then I had a mint tea which was also delicious. I think they literally just use wicked hot water and the lemons, or mint leaves and no tea bags. it was soooo gooodddd.

Off to the East End for the day. Big stories to come, I'm sure. ;)
